We are posting a new web development project recently released, DentalLearning.com, because it depicts several key elements for a successful website. Designed to provide dental professionals with a comprehensive source for continuing education, the site features multiple websites offering different products and services. Each category is content rich and includes an extensive e-commerce menu as well.

Our mission was to develop a website for a fast-growing dental community that offers online education courses, advertising space and rich multimedia content. It was also crucial to keep the functionality simple, intuitive and user friendly. The site was built using Drupal 6 as a content management system (CMS) platform, the most powerful and flexible web application platform available today.

Drupal offers unlimited functionality that allows us to create truly one-of-a-kind websites with more sophisticated features. This user-friendly CMS empowers you, the end user, to independently update your site whenever the need arises.

We selected the following Drupal applications to create this site:

• Shadowbox
• Custom Click Tracking System
• Custom Search Module
• Custom Multimedia Player

While your website may not be this intricate, you can observe how important page layout and graphics can be. Without clean design and quick click-to pages, the visitor may become frustrated and simply click elsewhere (never good).
